143.Monday : A positive person
Acts of the Apostles Acts 11:15 says: “As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them as it had upon us at the beginning.”
Each Catholic is called to be a channel of grace. This is part of the vocation of Baptism. Through Baptism, the Holy Spirit is given to each Catholic. Living a sacramental life and praying the Rosary help mold a person into a channel through which grace can flow. ChristusWay21 helps in this process by deepening awareness, discipline, and cooperation with grace, especially when united with the Rosary.
Gospel of John John 10:3 says: “The sheep hear his voice, as he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”
John 10:5 says: “They will not follow a stranger; they will run away from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers.”
John 10:14–15 says: “I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father.”
Today, the voice of strangers can appear as social media propaganda, manipulative messaging, vanity culture, fear-based narratives, addictive entertainment, distorted desires, and opinions that pull the soul away from truth. In ChristusWay language, these are competing voices that scatter attention, weaken reason, and cloud discernment.
Knowing Jesus Christ and hearing His voice are essential for becoming a channel of grace. For grace to flow, a Catholic must hear His voice, discern it with sound reason from the false voices of strangers, accept it in the heart, and carry it out in action. ChristusWay21 helps train this awareness, while the Rosary helps anchor the heart in prayer and stability.
Being a channel of grace is the flow of true positivity. A positive person often attracts surrounding negativity, bringing hidden darkness into the open. Openness and compassion are vital for spiritual success. You can become a channel of grace for others, even when some may respond through negative behaviors. Grace naturally moves toward woundedness and disorder in order to heal and restore balance. Difficult people and challenging situations can become opportunities to become that channel. Recognizing these truths keeps the heart open. Without this awareness, the ego can take over, cutting off the flow of grace and leaving a person reactive and vulnerable to others’ moods and actions.
The Rosary is one of the best tools for fostering the right attitude to receive and cooperate with grace. A wrong attitude can restrict its flow and lead to the loss of grace. By recognizing each opportunity and responding rightly, the Rosary helps a person use grace well and avoid wasting it. Any time grace begins to flow, demonic elements can act through temptation, distraction, agitation, pride, or division in order to steal what was received. The Rosary is a strong protection against these demonic elements.
Especially after Holy Mass, the grace received may be weakened through many distractions stirred by evil. Offering the Mass for the Pope’s intentions is a powerful way to preserve that grace and place it within the life of the Church. You, your loved ones, or even souls in Purgatory may receive blessings from it according to God’s providence. Mary, mother of Jesus acts as a conduit through which divine grace flows, and the Rosary is a powerful channel of that grace. A Rosary before Mass can help a person receive grace more fully and preserve it with greater care.
