141. Saturday: Be Sober and Vigilant
🌿 Cast Your Worries Upon the Lord
First Epistle of Peter 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.”
To cast our worries upon the Lord, we first need to trust Him. To trust someone, we need to be connected to them. To connect with the Lord, we need constant awareness of truth and a deeper understanding of the movements of grace. Yet many people live tangled in a world of lies, distractions, and deception.
⚠️ How Deception Works
This struggle does not always bring sudden destruction. More often it works gradually—through distraction, disorder, and repeated compromise. Over time, these deceptions can appear in life as anxiety, confusion, addiction, anger, despair, pride, temptation, loss of peace, and separation from truth and grace.
First Epistle of Peter 1 Peter 5:8 continues, “Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
🎯 Why ChristusWay21 Exists
This is why we have ChristusWay21, an awareness training program designed for this very struggle. It helps people recognize how lies, distraction, disorder, and repeated compromise quietly shape the inner life. It trains awareness so that harmful patterns can be identified early, before they take deeper root.
ChristusWay21 helps reconnect a person to truth, strengthen trust in the Lord, understand the actions of grace, and develop focus, discipline, and inner clarity. In a restless world, it becomes a path of learning how to cast worries upon God while growing in peace, purpose, and Christian success.
✝️ Christian Authority in Christ
Gospel of Mark Mark 16:16–18 reveals the authority of a life united with Christ. Faith and baptism open the soul to salvation and divine life. Those who believe are given authority over darkness: demons are cast out, new tongues are spoken, harm is overcome, and healing flows through their hands.
A person living in Christ carries more than belief—they carry presence, power, and grace.
🌟 The ChristusWay Path
Together, these passages show the ChristusWay path: surrender worry, remain watchful, live sacramentally, resist darkness, and allow the life of Christ to move through you in peace, strength, and healing.
